Dr. Nassar earned his MD from Meharry Medical College in Nashville — graduating with Dean's List honours and Clinical Honors in five rotations — before completing his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, one of the country's highest-volume surgical training programmes.
He holds an MS in Vision Science from the State University of New York School of Optometry, giving him both the basic science foundation and surgical skill set to manage complex anterior segment cases that other practices refer out.
